Terms of use
Draft pending legal review. These terms describe how the platform behaves today. They have not been reviewed by counsel and are not yet fit to be relied on in a contract.
Your account
One account, one person. Sharing an account with someone sitting an exam is treated as malpractice by your institution, not by us — we report what we observed; they decide.
Exams
- Your remaining time is set by our server. Refreshing or reinstalling does not extend it.
- Answers recorded after your deadline are kept as a record but are not marked.
- Your institution sets the rules for its own exams, including whether a paper may be sat offline and what an invigilator may do.
Integrity
During real exams we record events such as the app being sent to the background or a screenshot being taken. No decision is made automatically. A person at your institution reviews what happened, you are told, and you get to answer before any decision is made. You may appeal.
Your marks
Marks are computed by us and released by your institution. If you dispute one, you may open an appeal, and we will provide your institution with a complete record of your sitting. A released mark can only be changed by two of their officers acting together.
Subscriptions
- A subscription covers practice and revision only. Exams set by your lecturers are always free to sit.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period you paid for ends.
- A subscription lapsing does not interrupt an exam you have already started.
- Mobile-money payments can take a few minutes to confirm. If one does not resolve, contact us and we will trace it.
Content
Questions a lecturer writes remain theirs and their institution's. Questions in our own banks remain ours. Neither may be copied out of the platform or republished.
Availability
We do not promise the service is never unavailable. We do promise that if it fails during an exam, your answers are already saved on your device and nothing you did is lost.
